REMINDER—the deadline for submitting all documents and necessary paperwork to study in the UK is the first week of June.

If you do not get all of your documents submitted by this time, you will not be able to get your visa. It takes an extra three months to process all of the necessary visa paperwork in the Philippines, so anyone who does not meet the June deadline will not be able to have their student visa before the start of their classes in the autumn of 2010. The schools and universities in the UK also need this extra time so that they can make certain all student paperwork is in order and that all students are legally able to study in the UK.

Remember, too, that if you have a relative in the UK, you can save money by living with them. This will help you dramatically since you will not need to pay rent and will not have as many living expenses. If you have relatives in the UK, please speak to them about this opportunity.
