Under the Tier 4 regulations of the points-based system, all international students who wish to study in the UK must have a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies letter from a university, college, or training instate that is approved by the UK Border Agency.
When applying to study abroad in the UK, Filipino students must be certain that they are applying to an educational institute that is on the register of licensed sponsors. If the institute is not, the student’s application for a student visa will not be approved.
There are several different places to find the register of licensed sponsors. The best place to look is on the UK Border Agency website. This website contains the most recent list of institutes that are licensed to sponsor international students. The following are direct links to the register and to two guidance PDF documents issued by the UK Border Agency to assist students in completing their applications:

In addition to these links, Filipino students wishing to study abroad in the UK can contact a Finest Workers counsellor for assistance in completing their applications and in finding a licensed sponsor.
